Cross stitch pattern for an early style sampler. The shape of the letters are reminiscent of early samplers of colonial times. Simple rabbit, tulip, bird and floral motifs add charm to this design. The piece is worked on 28 ct linen over 2 threads with DMC flosses. Finished size of the cross stitch piece is 6-1/2" x 7-3/4". The piece is mounted on a hornbook. Cross stitch pattern also includes template & painting instructions for the hornbook.
