What a fun piece to stitch up for your fall decorating. The acorn has the alphabet and various autumn motifs cross stitched on 22 ct fabric using DMC flosses. The cap & backing of the acorn are made from civil war reproduction print. A twig is used for the stem for added detail and texture. A great piece to tuck into an old wooden bowl filled with pods, real acorns & rosehips. The acorn measures 5-1/2" x 8".
