The sampler is of Scottish origin and 13 year old Ann completed her last stitch on this lovely Adam & Eve sampler in the year 1846. The piece is worked over 2 threads on 30 count Iced Cappuccino linen by R&R Reproductions, using Gentle Arts flosses throughout. Verse reads - "Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongeth the trees".
