This is a charming design of a shepherdess tending her flock. "Come Tarry here, on this sweet earth, and in her heart, joyful be" is the verse on this beautiful piece. Offered as the complete kit, this design is stitched on 32 ct. hand-dyed Dark Espresso hand-dyed linen by R & R Reproductions, and stitched with lots of beautiful Thread Gatherer and Gloriana overdyed silks, along with solid Soie D' Algers.
Finishing approximately 5 x 19, it features lots of pretty stitches, and a selection of clay button embellishments. You will delight in stitching rows of pattern darning, satin stitch, and Ukrainian embroidery. The colors are soft greens & lavenders, with touches of buttermilk and grey.
